Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 is rumored to have its launch date to be 1st December 2020. The company has begun sending out press invites. Announcing that this Tech Summit event will reveal the “latest and greatest Snapdragon news”. The starting week of December is usually the time at which the company introduces its latest Snapdragon processors. That goes on to power the successive year’s flagship Android devices.
But, it is rumored that this event might be delayed due to this pandemic. However, the event invite reveals that this summit will be as usual as the previous years. But this time it will be conducted as a virtual event due to this pandemic. So the expected launch of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 SoC will be taken place virtual event rather than a physical one in Hawaii and the launch date of this event is 1st December. The event invite was shared by the company on Weibo and didn’t share any other information.

Hence the launch date has been fixed almost. This Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 is rumored to be the fastest, most powerful, and most energy-efficient chipset from the company. It is rumored that the latest processor is likely to debut in the upcoming latest Samsung Galaxy S30 series. Which is expected to be launched in February 2021. There are also rumors that this chipset will also have its “lite” versions and these lite versions might be used to power the upcoming mid-range smartphones.
However, we have to wait until the launch date to know whether this upcoming from Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 will be a 5G chipset and whether it will be among the first chipsets to adopt ARM’s latest high-performance Cortex-X1 core.
