Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite features a 10.1-inch Full HD LED Backlit Multitouch IPS Display. Huawei’s ClariVu enhances brightness and clarity. It comes with a metalled unibody. The tablet gives a premium and rich feel. The bezels are average. The tablet is also thin, it is just 7.7mm. The tablet is 4G activated. That is it has a sim slot that is 4G enabled with a memory card slot. It has a front-mounted fingerprint sensor. It is not in-display, it is in the form of a button. The device has a camera on both sides.

Both the cameras are 8MP. It has quad stereo speakers tuned by Harman Kardon. So, these speakers will definitely deliver fine-tuned audio. Also, the audio comes out with powerful bass and minimal distortion. It also has 4 microphones. On the right side, are the volume buttons and the power button. Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite features a 7500 Mah Battery with 18W fast charging. It takes about 2 and a half hours (approx 2.9 hours) to charge completely. It has a USB Type C port. The battery will last about a day and a half on moderate usage

It supports the L1 security level and is packed with Android 8.0. The screen brightness is very good and all colors are clear. The audio is the standout feature of the Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite. Thus, both the experience of audio and video is good on the tablet. The tablet also comes with a pen called Stylus. Additional to just drawing, you can take handwritten notes with Stylus. Huawei claims that it has 2048 pressure points, which makes it
run smoothly. The fingerprint sensor is also fast. And access is very quick. It doesn’t feature the face unlock feature.


Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite comes with the Octacore processor. It has 3GB+32GB storage which is expandable up to 256GB. No other variant is available. The tablet is steady, heavy games run smoothly. And surely, if the tablet had a good processor, it would run better. It comes with a children corner. These are specially designed for children. Parental control tools are also available.
