A long back, Google introduced a bunch of Go variants of its most popular apps in the Play store. Which is specially designed for low-end devices running the Android Go operating system. However, most of the Go variant apps are also made available for the regular Android users to download via Play Store, except Gmail Go. Similarities and Differences in the features:-

This Gmail Go is very much similar to the regular Gmail app on Play Store. The only major difference can be seen in the logo which has a red color Go logo on the bottom of the Gmail logo. The app comes with almost the same user interface as well. When you open the app, you can see the emails from the Inbox section. Tap on it to open or swipe left or right swipe to perform the preset commands such as an archive or delete and more. This app also supports multiple accounts and different inboxes the same as the regular Gmail app. However, the only thing missing is the menu bar at the bottom. Where the Meet, Chats, and Rooms integration can be found in the regular Gmail app. This indicates that the users cannot join a meeting from this app because of the absence of Google Meet.

The description of this app says that the Gmail you love is now lighter and just as fast. And also adds that now enjoy a smart inbox that protects your messages safe and organized. You can also receive notifications when mail arrives, then read and respond both online & offline and you can also find messages quickly with powerful search and lots more.
