Death stranding comes to PC with some goodies

Death stranding was released exclusively to the PS4 eight months ago. Hideo Kojima’s beautiful game was widely acclaimed and for good reasons. It put heavy emphasis on story rather than just killing aliens or something, and the world that you traversed was every bit as real as it gets. You had to carefully plan your approach to your objective while taking care not to completely damage your cargo. All this made Death stranding an enjoyable experience. But only for people who own the PS4. But in a total surprise, Kojima productions is now releasing the game to PC. It’ll be available on Steam and Epic games store. Sounds exciting right? This article contains all the information about when it’ll be released, What all are the features and much more.

However, that’s not it. The PC port is going to get some new stuff from another game franchise that is revered by every gamer, and a franchise that redefined first-person shooters. You guessed it right, I’m talking about the half-life.

Yes, as unexpected as it sounds, there is basically no connection to both the games. For most people, Death stranding is just a glorified balancing simulator and half-life to them is killing aliens using a crowbar.

It’s crossover unlike anything we’ve ever seen, but so far we don’t know anything about the VR game Half-Life: Alyx that is due to be released. Maybe this crossover means something. We don’t know yet.

What we do know about the PC Port of Death stranding is that it will be released on June 2, 2020, and the only thing that we know about Death stranding and half-life crossing is that Sam bridge’s, Death stranding’s protagonist will be able to wear a headcrab and glasses as a cosmetic item. Sam does look a bit like Gordon Freeman from Half-life. But other than that, there’s support for ultra-wide monitors. This could come in handy if you have a surround setup, the game would look really cool.

And also we will be getting photo mode for the PC port. It’s similar to God of Wars photo mode. Furthermore, additional bonuses for pre-ordering Death stranding include and art book, the primary soundtrack of the game and a special armor that we can wear in the game.

Kojima productions and 5o5 games haven’t given out much information other than what we already know. But we hope to hear some more exciting news soon. Are you excited as we are? Let us know in the comments section below your views on this game.
