Asus ROG Mothership GZ700 Features:-

As said earlier, this laptop has a 17.3-inch display, Intel Core i9-9980HK processor, 64GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 GPU. Coming to the cooling, the ROG Intelligent Cooling technology regulates the thermal output efficiently and delivers power when gaming. However, the design delivers awesome performance via more open airflow.

Coming to gaming review, the Asus ROG Mothership GZ700 proved its best. In Far Cry 5 and Rise of the Tomb Raider. When these games are played with 1080p and with normal preset. The FPS is 129 for Far Cry 5 and 158 for Rise of the Tomb Raider. Whereas with ultra preset, the FPS is 119 for Far Cry 5. And for Rise of the Tomb Raider in Very high preset. The FPS is 143 which is generally a pretty good number. However, the games other than these AAA titles, are also played and delivered awesome refreshing rates. And on Rainbow Six: Siege, this laptop averaged 236fps at maximum settings and 1080p.

Coming to the appearance review, this Asus ROG Mothership GZ700 has an excellent look. It comes with a detachable keyboard but this laptop could not be used as a tablet since the screen is not touch-screen. This is a large and heavy laptop and probably you cannot use it placed on your laps. You probably place this heavy machine on a table like many other gamers and grab the super cool gaming experience. And also this laptop comes with a kick-stand to place on any surface when the keyboard is detached.

Coming to the portability, this 17.3-inch gaming laptop is very large and very heavy making it lack portability from one place to another as it weighs about 10.5 pounds while excluding the two power bricks that increase the total weight up to 14.5 pounds.  However, if you definitely want to take this laptop along with you, then you require a whole separate bag. To keep this laptop and its chargers, and hence it is technically portable compared to a desktop.

This detachable keyboard is awesome and the keys we’re provided with a decent amount of travel, but no tactile feedback. However, they are individually backlit with customizable per-key lighting. And the narrow touchpad is provided at the far right side of the keyboard and a button can turn the touchpad into a cool touch-based number pad, with LED backlights turning it into a numbered grid.

The I/O can be reviewed decently on the Asus ROG Mothership GZ700. On the left side, there are three USB 3.1 ports, one USB-C port with Thunderbolt 3 support, headphone and mic jacks, and an ethernet port. And on the right side, there is one more USB 3.1 port, a USB-C port with DisplayPort 1.4 output enabled. But no Thunderbolt 3 support, an HDMI port, and an SD card slot. Coming to the battery, when this laptop is fully charged and placed in the power-saving mode. With 50 percent brightness and volume at 100 and Wi-Fi at off and Aeroplane mode is on, playing a 720p locally stored video lasted the battery for about 5 hours 35 minutes. This is insane compared to Acer Predator Helios 700 and Alienware Area-51m. Which lasted only for 2 hours 8 minutes and 2 hours 6 minutes under the same conditions.

Price:-

The price of this insane gaming laptop is about USD 6500 which roughly equals INR 4,76,000. This price is comparatively very high when compared to Acer Predator Helios 700 and Alienware Area-51m. But for a 64GB RAM and 1.5 TB SSD storage laptop like this, you have to pay this amount for sure.
